About Sharon Casavant

Sharon Casavant My husband and I have traveled from the South to the West and even out of the country. This has given me great opportunity to paint a wide variety of subjects and scenes.

I have been drawing/painting since childhood. With an Assoc. in Art Degree, learning from art courses, studying from the Master's, reading, and observing people and nature: I am producing pleasurable art. My talent is first and foremost a gift from God. I work in most mediums, but my favorite because of the fluidity, would be oil. I have enjoyed instructing elementary children, and high school kids in art as well.

Commissions are done in a realistically/impressionistic way. I have recently added photography to my art genre, since it is a very important part of the painting process! It is also very much fun. My paintings are taken from places my husband and myself have visited.
